The Mind

The Mind

The Mind,

It is very queer,

It can make us smile,

Or shed a tear.

It makes us work,

It makes us play,

It makes us function,

Throughout the day.

It helps us learn,

And controls our emotions,

It helps us formulate,

Plans and notions.

It works when we are awake,

It works when we sleep,

The workings of the Mind,

Are so very deep.
