Lockdown in The City

Lockdown in the City,

Nobody out to greet,

Everybody quarantined,

Silence in every street.

No person about,

Strays run wild in the street,

All of them thinking,

Why is no human to meet?

Deathly silence in every corner,

Hardly a person anywhere,

Businesses coming to a halt,

As no person present there.

I pray that all the great doctors,

Find a reliable way,

To end the reign of Coronavirus,

And make the Lockdown go away.
